Nicolas Auger is an intellectual property professional with a strong foundation in biochemistry, uniquely positioned at the intersection of science and law. Licensed to practice in both Ontario and the State of Michigan, Nic brings a valuable cross-border perspective to Dipchand LLP’s intellectual property and litigation practice.

With a Bachelor of Forensic Science specializing in Biochemistry and a Dual JD from the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy, Nic offers a scientifically informed approach to advising innovators and businesses. His background equips him to analyze complex technical issues and deliver practical, strategic solutions for clients.

Nic’s commitment to service began during law school, where he provided pro bono legal assistance through the Veterans Law Clinic and the Intellectual Property Law Clinic.

Fluent in English, proficient in French, and currently learning Italian, Nicolas approaches work with a global mindset. Beyond the office, he is an avid golfer, a passionate Detroit Lions fan, and is always seeking out the hottest new restaurants.
